So I grabbed a pair of these for real cheap-24ish dollars- and they are nice, a bit of break-in is needed I think so I won't pass judgement yet..I'm liking them so far though, no where near Grado SR60's but these Sony's get good reviews and for the price they are fine...and really BIG, but Really, really comfy!!!!

It's nice to find a good usable piece of gear that fits your wallet! Congratulations!

I bought a pair for the same price last month too.

They will be my third string set after AKG K260 Pros (sounds great and super comfy) and Technics RP-DJ 1210 (good sound & more portable) and will live at my cabin for now so won't see a lot of use, but they certainly seem to be well worth the price.

I found these yesterday for 3 bucks at a Goodwill. They were a steal for basic phone/laptop listening.
