The New Wave Of British Heavy Metal

Did they actually print copies like that with Maggie's eyes blacked out?

I've only seen it "uncensored".

Could't resist going and buying this remastered release of Tytan's debut album after @Delmarva kept posting about them, plus they have the wonderful vocals of Kal Swan onboard.

Grabbed a mint copy from Discogs, even came with the included poster :) And also gives me the chance to break in the new Shure N91ED on the Pioneer.

Really like the sound of it, and now can't wait for Blind Men & Fools 12" to arrive from the UK.

You'll be playing Tytan's "Rough Justice" again and again, T.B. It get's better every time I play it.

Bear in mind that the Blind Men And Fools EP is the same recordings as the album.

Does your remastered copy of Rough Justice come with any bonus tracks?

You just know that there is some collector out there that has every version of every Iron Maiden release.
Hard to say, there are a lot of them! Rasmus Stavnsborg in Denmark? Google that string :) There is a guy that owns a record shop in Greece that told me he had about 800 Maiden records at his peak, but finally sold them all.

It's so easy to forget what a great band Def Leppard was in the early days.
It's a shame they went the way they did when they started out with so much integrity and talent.
I remember an interview with Raven's John Gallagher where he said something to the effect of "How can you blame them? They're laughing all the way to the bank."

'Cept for a couple of "perms", the lads had a bit o' the "Ramones look' in '79, eh?

And John G. sure "called it", didn't he?

I've been reading former A II Z guitarist Gary Owens' story on his website. Man, he's had a tough go of it. Was arrested on murder charges in 1991 and spent 30 months in the Spanish prison system. Later released without ever being charged. He's now suing Spain and Britain for millions.
It's an interesting read. His memories of the early days of NWOBHM are vivid and he clearly was and is a meticulous collector of things pertaining to his career.

Link to the story here. The meorabilia pics are worth having a look at even if you don't want to read the story.

Thanks for sharing the link.

My other Holocaust 7", though of course I prefer to just listen to the whole live lp, so as a result this one is minty-er than the other single. Of course as with all early Holocaust, the grooves are crammed with total energy.

And that's another one I've never seen outside of Discogs.
(the full album is amazing)
