  • Hi Peter
I found a post about a Braun CSV500 and you said you worked at Braun and had a CSV500 too.
I would like to ask you since the service manual is not easy to follow woh can I measure the quiescent current (current draw) if I translated the manual well, it should be perform trhough variable resistance R615 & R715 but where I sould measure? where to locate the multimeter probs to get that value?
    Regards

If i remembr correct we had a fuse ( blown ) with wires soldered on the end caps. These wires were connected to a multimeter measuting mA.
This fuse replaced the fuse on the power board( one fuse for each channel if i rememner correct)
    Hi peter,

If you have an email, I can send you a video of the noise it is producing. Maybe get a better idea of what I’m talking about.

I will post pics of the inside and out of the unit when I get home.
