    Atlanta Craigslist

The majority of stuff is overvalued by the sellers, but if you are diligent and pounce quickly you get some amazing stuff. In the last year I have been able to snag... Near mint pair of AR2ax in original boxes for $50 Excellent pair of Yamaha NS690's for $50 Near mint pair of pretty...

I'm about 30 minutes north of Atlanta in Alpharetta.

    New Music Hall RCM

Assuming that they are in fact the same unit, I would agree that the MH wins hands down from the point of aesthetics. If it's even possible to get at least 28% off on the MH to get it down under the $550 Consonance, I too would be very tempted. Then I think about the chance of having to deal...

    B&O RX2 find

Personally, I would say move on. The cartridge Soundsmith mentioned in the ad has now been discontinued, and replaced by a $300 model. Soundsmith may actually be the only remaining resource for new replacements, and that $300 tag is the low end of their line. There is a place (no affilliation)...

:lmao: The exact reason I will buy the Consonance instead! Also not sure where the added $200 price over the Consonance comes from. All I see on the MH is a slightly different clamp and some black paint or anodizing.

    Who is responsible?

They claim they removed the screws prior to plugging it in, but no way really know. All I do know is that they were installed prior shipment, and the buyer knew that. I suppose attempting to operate it with the screws installed could easily have caused the issue.

    Who is responsible?

I considered that, but I just might get back a unit that has a problem, after I sent it out totally issue free. Does ebay even consider that the buyer could actually have caused the problem themselves? like trying to operate it before removing the transport screws (which they were pre-advised...

    Who is responsible?

Yes I did speak to ebay prior to posting here. They were not really any help at all. They just offered all the possible scenarios and outcomes, but nothing really specific. My question was merely asking if there similar experiences and what the outcomes were.

    Who is responsible?

Anyone have a similar issue? I have always relied on CL to move any equipment that Iwanted to let go, but recently due to a lack of local interest, I sold a piece on the auction site. It was in perfect working order and superb physical shape. I listed it as "no returns accepted", and wrapped...

    Vintage speakers. What are they?

Look exactly like the Sansui SF-2. A couple pairs on the local CL listings for around $200-225. Nothing too great about the sound in my opinion.

    What was your first turntable?

Philips GA-212. Accidentally left in a clost when I moved a couple years ago. Still bothers me.

Actually she offered to let me go through them, and there was nothing I either wanted, or did not already have. She said she was not necessarily looking for anything in particular, but wanted them to be in really good shape. So many who have commented here seem to think I was upset over...

That clock is awesome! I know it's been a few months since you posted this, but would you be able to share any info on how you did it? (like what had to be removed, and how it is all held together)

    i got new headphones ATH-M50

I can see where some might say the AT's run a bit large ( the ATH-x00 series with the wings"), but the M50's should be fine even on a smaller to normal noggin.
