    Apparently the Classic 2/3’s need approx 50 hours run in time. I’m up to about 20 hours now. I’m very pleased with how they sound, here’s another little demo clip

    Hi all. just waiting for Fortis stands to arrive and these new beasties will be singing. Classic 2/3. they definitely need running in and probably aren’t ideal on the Heybrook stands I’ve been using for SP2/2’s but I’m really pleased.

    Err nope. Glue failed pole slipped, its only screwed in from the top, holding the top plate to the chassis. The bottom plate with the pole piece is glued on. Over driven bass units will get very hot, thus the glue gave up. that bass unit was from a SL600, the Aerolam cabinet would have been...
