The display on my Carver receiver seems to be a bit dim especially compared to the CD player above. Would anybody have any ideas as to what I could do to make the display brighter on the receiver? Correction to the title, Carver HR-875

The belt is correct and the pots have no effect on speed in 33 or 45 and neither does the speed selector

So when I got the turntable, everything works fine with an exception of the speed was going too fast ! much faster than 45.
