    Boston Acoustics T1030 cracked cab

    If it were mine I would consider adding a small section of 1 x 3 in back of the crack and then gluing it to the front speaker enclosure along with a couple long wood screws from the front to pull it nice and tight.

    why do you have the big power amps?

    They grab my speakers by the scruff and show them who is boss. Big amps show their benefits in depth and authority in the bass.

    Vintage You can get some amazing TOTL stuff for almost pennies nowadays. As others said, the thrill is in the hunt. I have scored a Denon 3560 for $100, Boston T1000s from original owner for $150 and Vandersteen 4s cheaper than most sets of 2Cs.

    I have a pair of T1000s that I got super cheap as they needed surrounds and the black vinyl was peeling on several edges. I will take some time later tomorrow after I finish a full brake job on a BMW to pull one apart and take a few pics for you all. G

    Yup, redo the crossovers on the Polks then look to upgrade Preamp as the Hafler is a solid performer
