The problem is precisely this: the uncertain outcome. This applies to any hi-fi component purchased blind, but in my personal experience, reselling a hi-fi accessory, even if it's not excessively expensive, isn't exactly easy. In this case, then, buying it in Japan, including shipping and...

Yes, sorry, it's a typo! The CU-500 weighs 2900 grams (2.9 kg) and the CU-180 weighs 1800 grams (1.8 kg).

Hey guys, what do you think of the copper mats? I'm referring to the Micro CU-180 (180 grams) and the Micro CU-500 (290 grams). I know something has already been written in this thread, but I wanted some more updated opinions. They're certainly not cheap, and I'm wondering if they're worth...

I assume the ones you used were 5cm in diameter. The ideal would be to find 7cm ones like mine, so as to avoid having to modify the original feet.

The item label said 7 cm, but I hadn't even noticed. Anyway, here are the photos... I don't know if they'll be of any help.

Yes, I saw that the website indicated a diameter of 7 cm, but I thought it was a mistake. The store tag said 8 cm in diameter, but at this point it was a typo because I just measured the ring and it has a diameter of 7 cm, as correctly stated on the website. Anyway, as I already said, the...

I was only able to find the 8 cm ones at a store called "Action." They sell a bit of everything, like the Chinese stores here in Italy, but the goods are made in Romania and offer a remarkable quality/price ratio. The quality is decidedly superior to that of Made in China products.

Exactly, but I prefer them to the "naked" black feet. The cost was almost nothing, and to install them, I simply lifted the turntable with one hand and slipped the rings under the feet with the other.

They have a diameter of 8cm, they are wider than the GT-2000 feet. Therefore feet do not require any modification.

Yes, in fact, someone else in this long thread had mentioned these tin shells that covered solar garden lights. Today I was in a shop with my wife and daughter, I saw the solar lights and I remembered...

Hey guys, I bought four solar garden lights (99 cents each), removed the 8cm diameter silver tin ring, and inserted it into the feet of my beloved GT-2000. Now it's even cooler!!

It will be one of your best hi-fi purchases! I've had it for 4 months and I'm absolutely enchanted... once you've set it up properly, you'll notice two things: 1) The wide soundstage 2) A rock-solid and articulate bass... it will give all your LPs weight. Cheers. Pietro
