I posted a query some years back about a pair of JBL 4310's I own regarding the fact that they have different woofer and midrange drivers than was apparently standard for the model, but I can't find the thread and so decided to re-post my query since I don't remember if I got any answers as to why this might be.
The woofers are 2212's and the midrange drivers are 2105's. The tweeters are the standard LE20-1's. The serial numbers of the speakers are 57886 and 57891.
So my question is, are these early production models or later, and how unusual is it to have 4310's with this driver array?
A photo of the pair is attached. The stands are from Infinity Monitor Jr's and did not come with the 4310's.
Thanks for whatever information anyone can provide.
