Album Cover Frames

I just bought half a dozen album cover frames ($6 apiece) to decorate my oldest's room. He got to choose the albums - and I like his choices. Here's a photo of some of them - it certainly gives me pleasure to look at pictures I associate with music I like:

I left the records with their covers - otherwise I am afraid I would never be able to rejoin them again.

I got a question for ya! With or without glass/plex?

I have the ability to create my own simple molding to make frames And I have a bunch of real nice 5/8" thick Oak I got at a Estate sale that would work real well for the dozen or so I want to make. BUT I keep getting to the part about deciding how deep to cut the datto and I can't decide I would need to make it about 1/8" deeper if I wanted to use Glass/Plex.

Hope you have a spacer between the album and the glass, or you might have sticking issues by and by.

I got a question for ya! With or without glass/plex?

Mine (from Michael's, I think - I will need to check with my Domestic Purchasing Manager! ) - do have "glass", which I believe in fact is plexi. I would recommend this - it makes worn covers look a little fresher: In fact, my albums look close to perfect through the glass, when in fact they are quite worn.
