Update: CB is almost completely, 90-95%, recovered. He gets around when he wants albeit a little slower than usual. He's waiting at the kitchen door for breakfast in the morning. Yowling complaints that it wasn't served sooner. He goes up and down the steps and he'll go for a walk when the mood strikes. He's standing up to eat mostly instead of prone (think the Sphinx) like he got accustomed to after he got injured.
Currently, like they usually do on cool overcast days, the gang is snoozing on the porch condo.

What were once vices are now habits
** I forget which band made that popular, I think it was an LP…
But Rowan got a treat today, weather is warm rnough to open the back patio door, she spent some time watching, and showed interest with a lot of sniffing going on. I have to be careful, as only a screen protects her, and we live around a lot of wildlife, (yes, bears do **** in a yard).
There was also a mean old orange tom that used to cruise around- some days he would let me pet him— think he is gone though.
Rowan has been going back and forth checking it out- she sure is coming around, as far as her insecurities ..
Gonna fire up some music a bit later, that may not work very well, though.
I had some tones playing on my lappy that she was unfamiliar with, and immediately she began staring at the Khorns…
My very best to all the awesome cat owners, and their “kin”.
Oh my doctor and I talked for while yesterday, she has 5 cats, including a new one that was too weak to get up, rescued from the side of the road. Skitty has gained alot of weight, and saw a pic of him sitting on her shoulder!
Awesome to see there are so many good “hoomans”, like @ARC Tech-109 sez.
Onward we trod to better times, as Rowan has moved back to her front and center, at the patio door.

**Arghh, Doobie Bros did that, knew sound crew for them, and spent time with those guys in SF.
They used to have big multitrack machines stored in the apt I used to visit, ohh the memories, super nice guys.

Yes the big Sony I have is indeed a 27xx something or other too big to get behind to check, but I think it is like vintage 1987.It was way expensive back then.
Too bad it died, and haven't found a way to get rid of it yet, nor have I tried.
The smaller Sony I think I will try to variac up, it is circa 1997, remember refusing the extended warranty, when buying it with my mom.. think it was close to 585 then…
Lets see what Rowan does at low volume, she usually jets when she hears signal, going to the speakers… I expect no different today.
No matter, she has her place upstairs.

If that doesn't say "I'll get even with you hooman" nothing does.
Did some yard work this morning, then made an egg cheese & tomato omlette on an English muffin and sat to watch the News at Noon.
And Raffi decided that sandwich was VERY interesting to her - god knows why 'cause we NEVER feed her human food!
So she climbed up on my lap and was determined to get to the plate!
Selfie ensued! (but no egg for her!)
