Yeah you right! Even If I screw it up, I can send it off and for 320 have a practically new amp. Not bad at all.

And it will be well worth it. I had a 1.5t given to me a few years ago, and the difference it made in the sound of my main system was remarkable. All that headroom, even with relatively efficient speakers, does make an audible difference, especially on music with high transient peaks (defining what I mostly listen to). It has a tiny bit of hum...easy to overlook.

what do you have the 1.5t hooked up to? Maybe a mod could eliminate the hum. Have you tried to troubleshooting the hum? Could be something simple as a loose ground or poor connection in the signal path.
