general cleaning & maint.(receivers)

i'm an avid collector of vint. receivers. one of my major complaints (as trival as it may seem) is in the cleaning of the pot controls. i wish the manufacturers of the aerosal contact cleaner lubricants would supply, or make availible, a longer spray tube, so you could get in tight spots that are unreachable with the supplied tube. and also won't have to hold can on an angle (this causes the propellent to come out). does anyone have any suggestions on this matter?

The simple solution that I use is to get an additional tube and use shrinkwrap to join the two together end to end. This also allows the extended tube to be bent at something of an angle.
I'm sure others have even better approaches, but this works for me.

...and use a heat gun to lightly soften the end of the tube so that you can bend it to suit. This way it won't kink and cut the flow of the aerosol...
