Happy Canada Day !

Happy Canada Day, guys & gals! :beerchug: I always thought it'd be fun to "crash" the border, & be an illegal alien up there for a day or 2, but that's probably not so smart these days. :scratch2: ;)

i think there are still places where you could sneak over here,or us there.if you really wanted too i don't think it would be THAT hard...but unless you have some reason to avoid going through the border legally....it's really not that big of a deal.

the days of just cruising over the border without even showing any ID,or just your drivers license if asked are long gone tho...but that's understandable and just a sad sign of the times...we still share one of the most open borders in the world,it's just not as open as it once was....

Yep, I was joking about the border patrol, seems they've been trying to crack down on the huge drug market and/or terrorist threat, LOL. ;) I was reading that some landowners right on the border are getting a little tired of it.

Canada Day in a small town:

A great parade,

Two barbecues with family, and a great bunch of friends.

Fire works in an hour and half, it's not even close to dark.

Take Care

in Canada right now, saw my first CFL game last night (Hamilton vs. Winnipeg) and spending the day in Toronto today and July 4th before heading back across the border.

Hope that you're having fun LLB9977!! I'm sure that you've got your trip planned out, there's a ton of activity in T.O. this weekend as I'm sure you already know...

CFL football can be fun to watch  I was a Rider Rookie and sat in the cheep end zone seats for many game when I was kid.

The Canadian game can be a bit more open than the NFL. The 3 downs and bigger field makes for more passing and risk taking. It can look a little like US college football some games though :D
