My question exactly

I was searching the site with this same motive in mind.

A good friend in Salt Lake City has a pair built in conjunction with a local DIY'er (my friend has no tools, just a checkbook and sweat equity). He has nothing but raves about his 2.5 clones -- they were built to the plans found at the link in the 1st message with a little tweaking of the Xover.

Any DIY'er in the Maryland suburbs of DC got a similar itch???
