I bought a pair of HPM-150's and one of the tweeters 45-713B isn't working.
Would it be possible to use a tweeter from a HPM-100 45-711A.
Thanks in advance to your replies.

Probably be fine. I should have a pair of tweeters from the HPM-900 model I got as backup many years ago. They are very heavy drivers.

It will work as I have replaced one on my 150's. But I am picky and did not like the look of the replacement tweeter. The face of the tweeter had a different finish. The original driver had a polished chrome finish; the replacement was a light silver. So I got a correct tweeter off ebay. The other thing that I got to thinking about was why would Pioneer make different model mids and tweeters that look about the same. The answer I settled on was power ratings. The HPM (40, 60, 100, 150, 1500) line of driver’s (mids and tweets) look similar however each loudspeaker is rated differently. So I suspect that the different mids and tweets were designed to handle the power for the speaker it was to be installed in. But I ramble; any replacement is better that none. Once you get your replacement you will surely enjoy the experience. Rock on.

May want to compare crossover ranges between the 2 models and adjust accordingly. There's at least 1, 45-713C on ebay right now for $20 or so.
