This is timely. I have an SA-660 on the bench with some bum parts. Wasn't aware of the SA-600 but some digging turns up a service manual that covers both, along with a complete schematic that covers both units so I have to say thanks for posting this and making me go have a look. Looks like there is only a slight difference in the power amp to include protection diodes and a few volts extra at the supply rails.

I don't have what I picked for cross-references for the small transistors handy at the moment but I can get you that when I get home. I picked different stuff, hopefully both of them work out. I really hate proprietary numbers that don't at least get to a datasheet. I can also dig up the part numbers I ordered for new mica sheets for the TO-3 and TO-66. There are several options that all fit, but only one is an exact dimensional match to the originals.

If its a breaker, my assumption is that it should read 0 ohms normally. If it reads open circuit or high resistance it tripped and did not reset. Replacing, no idea. You'd need to know the trip current. If nothing exists, a fuse might be the practical sub here.

output transistors MJ15015G / 15016G
Q5/Q6 TO-39 transistors BC141 / BC161
TO-66 insulators Keystone 4666
TO-3 insulators Keystone 4652

I'm pretty far from a solid state guru so those are at least partly educated guesses. I'm sure those output transistors are gross overkill, a 2N3055 and whatever the compliment is would probably have done just fine but the MJ parts were slightly less expensive and considerably up-rated.

Any recommend Q7,Q8 drive transistors TO-66 type?
Thanks

I honestly don't know. The ones in this one measure good, so my hope is I won't have to figure out a sub. There aren't that many options though so its likely to be a pretty short list of possibilities.
