I heard on WDCB, Chicago, today.
Jim Post, folk/bluegrass musician. Guitar player, vocalist, storyteller, actor. I may have missed something else? Passed on Sept 14, 2022, at age 82.

He hosted a LIVE radio folk music variety show called The Fleamarket, years ago. From The Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago. Jim was maybe best know in US Midwest and Chicago area.

I saw his Mark Twain one man show he did, some years ago. There was a definite resemblance.
Was a great entertainer. Will be missed. Condolences to his family.

I'm from Chicago, albeit quite a few years ago, but I think I still have a record or a cassette called "Shipshape" by Post from many years ago.
I'll have to dig it out and give a listen!

Jim,
You reminded me. I'll have to play my copy too.

And I have cassette tapes I recorded of The Fleamarket Radio Show. Being a live show. Reminded me of the casual nature of the Grand Old Oprey TV shows.
Guests would miss thier Que. Post would have to coax them out on stage. Babies crying in the audience. Jim would tell the parents to not leave. It was quite alright.
He was quite the personality.
