I literally just discovered that my Smaller Advents are 4 Ohm speakers and I've been running them with an HK 330i (8 ohm). Is there a better type of receiver to use? I'm looking at a completely refurbished older Realistic unit on craigslist (45wpc). Is this a bad idea? TIA...
Read the writing under the speaker connectors on the back of the HK.
They put it there so you could see what ohms are safe to use as you actually connect the speaker wires.
As long as you only use that one set of speakers you should be fine.
