JVC VN 900 SEA cap list

I am trying to replace the electrolytic caps on the SEA board of my JVC VN 900, I only have the schematics downloaded from hifiengine, these are the numbers listed, there is no part list.
I went ahead buy these caps without too much of checking and now I feel like I should have had someone has much better knowledge verify these before I start replacing.

Is that possible someone check these that would be really appreciated.

C301, C302, 3.3uF/25V - UMA1E3R3MCD2, 3.3/25
C307, C308, 10uF/50V - UFG1H100MDM, 10/50
C309, C310, 33uF/6.3V - UKA0J330MDD1TD, 33/6.3
C311, C312, 3.3uF/50V - UFG1H3R3MDM1TD, 3.3/50
C313, C314, 33uF/16V - UFG1C330MDM, 33/16
C319, C310, 3.3uF/25V - UMA1E3R3MCD2, 3.3/25
C321, C322, 1uF/25V - UFG1H010MDM, 1/50
C323, C324, 0.68uF/25V - ???

This is SEA Equalizer board right? Just briefly looking at your list, you have chosen good audio grade caps from Nichicon which should do the trick .If you want to keep it consistent, replace two general purpose
UMA capacitors with something similar to the rest (FG, KA). If correct values are not available try Elna Silmic. For 0.68uF/25v it looks like Nichicon KL is on the back order. Or you can use film cap there- if you are not scared with the other thread ;-).

Mico, thx for your help. Yes, it is the equalizer board.
See “Low Leakage” once in a while but never pay much attention to it until recently. Don’t even know when and where they are needed especially without the part list. So all small uF capacitors are supposed to be “ Low Leakage” type?
I enjoy this JVC since it has the plug in board design allow me to pull one out and work on it as I feel comfortable as a beginner. This board is actually the last oneBFFB1453-2DA9-48FA-BE33-322E434B8B2A.jpeg to be done. I have no electronics background and the way I select the capacitors basically just audio grade->Nichicon-> FG, KW, .. recommended by reading the posts here. Good or bad I can’t really tell but it is still singing nicely so far.

No, not all small value capacitors are supposed to be the low leakage ones, it depends on the position. You will also find low leakage caps with not so small uF values. Right now I am restoring
SONY ST-5950 SD tuner and have them in 100uF, 47mf, 22uF. To try to make it simple, if you see orange caps (sometimes yellow) in a vintage unit, there should be a low leakage cap.
And you will not always find the correct value in Nichicon KL range, so do not get obsessed. This is your choice, use either KL or good audio grade. From my very limited personal experience I would not gamble with film.
Everything I said in the few previous sentences is strictly my personal view, based on the knowledge and experience of others and my own. So do not take it for granted.

Thx.
So thing like this in orange color?
As I mentioned, these are all replaced without me knowing they are the low leakage type earlier. There are some on this unit at various boards 85E7E7E8-3D15-46F0-BA1B-74976CE2D205.jpeg but there is no way to find that information on the schematics? unless I keep photos to go back. Maybe this going to be my next project.

I replaced all the caps in my amp with Elna Silmics except the filter caps (Chemi-cons). Six months later still sounding great.

There was a thread awhile back where a Marantz owner replaced all the caps, including the PSU ones with Elnas and has been running it for years I think.

I think I can not upload the same image twice, so look at the first post in the thread where you posted this link today.
There you will see orange and yellow low-leakage , low-noise, low-whatever capacitors from United Chemicon and Nichicon.
You can use that as I rough guide where to use better, audio quality capacitors. But do not put them in the Power Supply circuit...

I just got myself a broken JA-S9 (Japanese version of VN-900) for about 230USD with shipping, but I think I have paid too much for it.

Anyway, when it arrives, I am gonna fix it and restore it. BTW, is there any chance to get its service manual?

This is mine.
I only found schematics nothing else and fortunately got a lot of help from the guys here to fix the DC issue.
No worry about the price, just enjoy it. But make sure to get it work. I don’t see this model often here in the states.77CABA78-D56F-4DA7-884F-E81D5B56D475.jpeg

Robin, not like not willing to share. As I mentioned in some other posts as above, I don’t have any electronics background and this is the first time I worked on a unit. And the caps I selected are all based on very minimum knowledge I learned here so I am not quite sure are those the “proper” replacement, but they all work so far. As far as the list, I don’t keep copy and neither know how to retrieve my the seller site.
How does your unit look, pic to share, very curious on your progress.

Since there is no service manual for VN-900, its cap list has to be made from reading its schematics. It would be nice to have a cap list from others to double check with mine. I certainly will have my own choices of caps.
My amp is still being shipped to me from Japan. It will arrive in about 10 days.

It came and was all original, but had only popping and cracking noise.

After some simple diagnosis, the problem was narrowed down to the preamp. Then I shotgun replaced all 6+2 2SC458's in TAC-229 and TAC-228, and problem was solved.

Now I have an almost all original and working VN-900.

Congratulations, nice.
The plug in board design is very convenience feature to me as a new guy to this hobby.
Enjoy it but it seems need some cleaning.
What speakers are you running?

It was very dirty inside and the transformer casing was pretty rusty, so I removed the rust with a wire brush and washed the amp in a sink.

I am running a pair of "special" Clements 308 di. They look different from the ones from google search.
