Klipsch Synergy F2

So there are a pair of these near me for $50, was wondering what the opinion was on here at that price point? I think for $50 they're a good deal as long as they function fully, and I'm waiting for the owner to reply with verification that they do.

Yeah I know they're big box, but for $50 (or less) I figured they'd be decent in a HT setting perhaps? They seem to get decent online reviews, but you can't ever really trust those so-called unbiased sites.

I have some Synergy B3,, bookshelf speakers love them,.From what I have seen/heard diff years gave not all the same sound.result.for this same speaker.
Could be they did some cost savings along the way .VMMV

At $50 I think they're worth a shot, if not I should be able to flip them for double my investment. I've had some good results with Klipsch in the past so we shall see!

So I went ahead and picked these up, and I feel pretty good about it. I could tell that the family that was getting rid of them needed the money, so I ended up paying a little more than the $50 they were asking for as for the condition they were in it was warranted.

If I had to pick a word for them, it would be accurate. They aren't as warm as a KLH 5 and the highs aren't as sparkling as my JBLs, but the imagining and blend of them is pretty dang good. The bass response from the dual 6.5" drivers was pretty surprising too, fairly tight and goes pretty low without distortion. Probably some of the best big box speakers I've had.
