Linda Ronstadt Documentary

CNN has been running the 2019 documentary about her called The Sound of my Voice, anyone else watch this? I thought it was an outstanding show and showed what a MONSTER talent she was. I'm a bit biased though because I've said for many years she was the best female singer of our time, she could sing the phone book and make it sound good. I also think, in her time she was one of the most beautiful women in the world. If you haven't seen it take 2 hours of your time and give it a watch, you'll thank me later. ;)

P.S. I did find the ending a bit sad because it hits home for me, but for different reasons than her.

Watched it and enjoyed it very much.

Then I watched a documentary on the Doobie Brothers which was even longer and equally interesting, connecting many well-known artists over several decades, from the original group to the Michael McDonald version . . . and back again. Makes me wish Fleetwood Mac could reform with some original members while Peter Green is still alive!

Anyway, I've yet to see the Linda docufilm but i have read enough reviews, here and elsewhere, to have developed an interest and desire to see it. I'll grab a copy and give it a watch, maybe even tonight.

Have most of her albums. Feel bad for her current health situation. Watched & loved it. Seeing Linda with Dolly and Emmylou was sweet, but when she sang opera and mariachi, it blows a mind sideways. She was a force.
