Anyone here have some suggestions on a rack trhat would work well with my pioneer spec gear ? My rack in my avatar is wway too big for the LV so Im looking for a single stack type rack and since my spec gear slides into my original rack is there a small version that does this ? The faceplates on my spec gear dont really alow me to just stack them( at least without spacers or something) I was hoping someone here might have a fix for this or share there rack info on what worked for them. Thanks in advance ! PS. Space is limited to single width type setup.

Wow I didnt even know it was possible to run a pc with spec gear, how are you inputting that laptop, the TT drawer is super cool also, something like what you have
would even let me add my RT-2022 into the mix, of course it would be 7 ft tall or more but hey thats a cool rig. I have carpet so thats probably too topheavy for me without tying it to the wall. Thanks for the info on the server rack Idea I hadnt thought of that. As for PC ditigal playback Ive been streaming stuff VIA DLNA through a BLU-Ray player to my AVR,and plan on getting a Boxee Box for that option soon. THANKS !

When I saw the thread title, my first instinct was to have you ask my wife. But then I read your post and realized that we weren't thinking about the same thing.

Have a look at this post with regard to what I'm using for my laptop output:

The turntable and laptop drawers are simply modified server rack drawers intended for monitors or keyboards. They're solid, work great for this purpose and again, can often be found used for cheap.

I have just the opposite problem. The components in this rack ^ fit nice, but I am on the hunt for a SG-9800, and something will have to go on the TV stand when I procure the EQ.

I dont know why I hadnt thought of using a pc as a source since the teenager here hooks his Ipod into a set of rca cables I have hooked up to a cd player plugged into my spec 1 auxilory or phono, Of course I dont much like him messing with my Spec gear. He likes to drive my QLS1s pretty hard and I usually have to reset EVERYTHING after hes been playing it,however at least he is learning that there is more to audio than plastic buttons. Still I would worry less when I get my gear into the main room (safe zone) I need a rack soon !!!!!!!!:D

Maybe I should have Posted (Looking for a bigger Living Room) you know, just to avoid any confusion ! hehe:D

oh... this is about stereo gear

I have a Spec-1,Spec-2,TX 9500,SG-9500,CT-F9191,RT-2022 and would like some Ideas on what single stack type racks I could use with limited space that would work with the pioneer Spec line of gear. Surely someone here in the pioneer thread has had some experience setting up a system like this. Oh and a TT also
