Mica Caps...

I took these mica caps off some boards, along with some resistors, and pots...They are about 3/4" square, and 1/4" thick...
I read that they can be very good,or useless, but how can they be tested?
The resistors are all 5%, and all the ones I tested are well with in range...

They are Sangamo, Micamold,, and El-Menco,,,All marked USA. I found info on how to read the codes, but, if they are not worth using, I'm not going to bother...

As long as space is not an issue they'll work just fine. Newer silver mica types are alot smaller.

Thanks for replying,,, space won't be a problem, but how do I know if they work?
