Nissan Sentra with high miles- worth it?

95-99 Sentras use a timing chain, I owned a Smyrna Built '96 Sentra GLE, got it with 68,900 on the clock, got hit from the side when it had 199,000 some 11 years later. A good old car, better than the newer models. CVT is a trouble prone thing in newer Nissans. Mine had 3 rebuilt alternators, a rebuilt starter, a battery, 2 Oxygen sensors, a PCV valve, and oil and filter every 3K, and transmission fluid every 2 years and brake fluid yearly.

I don't know about the reliability reputation of Sentras, but here is my 99 Nissan Maxima

Bought it from Goodwill over Christmas for $300. No leaks, puffs out a bit of smoke every morning and that's it. Runs unbelievably well for that mileage, wouldn't hesitate to drive it across country. If that's relevant...
