The Venus flytrap makes pretty flowers. The flowers are raised high on stems far away from the traps to avoid accidentally eating their pollinators. This one grows in our garden window.

Excellent movie. According to the trivia section, Burt Munro's children were on the set one day. Anthony Hopkins portrayal was so "spot on" that it moved them to tears.
