Pioneer SA-6800 OR YAMAHA CA-510

Hi everyone. First post here or on any techy forum for that matter :). I'm looking to buy either a Pioneer SA-6800 or Yamaha CA-510. Their specs are basically the same but I was wondering which one would be the better buy. The prices are close so that's not an important issue. I'm asking about the quality and reliability the of the product. Thank you , and have a nice day.

I would buy the Pioneer on looks alone. I was never a fan of those square knobs which Yamaha brought back on their recent audio equipment. Also, what shape are these pieces in?

If you want a warm sound go for the Pio, if you want sterile and flat go for the Yamaha, in terms of build quality I feel that Yamaha's are a bit better. 80% metal knobs on my CR-620 with little plastic inserts and the switches just have more of a clunky heavier feel to them. No offense to the guys here who love Pioneer. But in the end, which sounds best to you? That's what really matters.
