Replacing RCA Plugs - Assistance Needed with Wiring

Replacing RCA plugs, and I see that there are 3 wires on each. One has a black wire, grey wire, and bare wire (unsure of exact colors). And the other has a red wire, orange wire, and a bare wire. I know I have to twist 2 of the wires together, and one will be soldered to the center pin of the RCA (which is positive) and one soldered to the outer shell (which is negative). However, I just don't know which wires go where. Can somewhat assist? Thanks.

What is at the other end of the cable? I'm not sure of their purpose in your system, but RCA plugs only have two contacts. I'd twist together the insulated ones and make them positive (connected to the center pin) and use the bare wire as negative/shield.
