I've got three DVD players I found for super cheap at the local Goodwill: a Sony DVP-S7000, a Sony DVP-NS900S and a Denon DCD-2200. Is anyone familiar with any of these in regards to redbook CD playback? I'm just curious what the prevailing opinion on which one sounds best and which ones are better to sell... I'm also interested in which would be the best for use as a transport, if you look up the Sony DVP-S7000 on Google, there's alot of stuff saying it's one of the best ever...

Sounds like you already have a preliminary answer. I would recommend hooking them up and spending a little time with each one. Your ears will tell you which one to keep.

It would probably be the s7000. I had one for quite a while till I was forced to seriously downsize this year.
