More WZUM this morning. They are Celebrating the women of Jazz this morning.
Earlier they played a tune I liked. Turns out it was Kurt Elling. I'm not a big fan but this one was good. I need to find the title. If I do I'll edit this post.

I hardly ever find his albums in the wild in my area but his stuff is always a welcome addition to my jazz library.

I'm a little cautious about Sonny Stitt recordings, because sometimes he tended to "go through the motions" (being such a great player, even those efforts were not too shabby).
But anything he did with Barry Harris ranks as "must hear".
He did a couple more LPs with Barry on Cobblestone that are good as well.

Those 2 Cobblestones (also Constellation) are more than good. They are outright classics!
