Was digging around in boxes packed up back in 2014 for the move to MS. Found these gems hidden away from myself. Surprising they still work.

Also found this IRIQ programmable remote, a Microsoft product. It’s useful like ended less than a year after purchase. Worthless from
Day 1.

Love finding stuff like that hidden away. Just recently unearthed my old PS1. I had that Walkman for years

Rediscovered my old PS1 with the RCA analog outputs yesterday. Also hidden in a drawer. Been playing it, but seems it may be somewhat noisy. Not sure it is the PS1 because seems I've got noise on my workshop power today. Could be a LED "fluorescent" light fixture causing it. Something is flickering in the shop, so am going to replace the four 4' LED bulbs in that fixture and see if it solves the noise issue.

Makes sense. I’m going to run some CD’s and see how it goes. I remember it sounding pretty good back then

Replaced two of the four 4' LED bulbs in the fixture and the flickering has stopped. Audible noise from the speakers is gone too, at least for now.

Also found this ?300 GB? USB hard drive in a box. It has 249 GB of iTunes music backed up on it. Still works.

Loved MD when it came out. Still have mine in a drawer somewhere, wouldn’t be surprised if it still works. Wish I bought more pre-recorded discs as they seem kind of collectible now, but at the time that wasn’t the point of MD for me. A pocket recorder and mix tapes were a blast.
