Certainly looks AS 101, with replacement drivers. The back doesn't look original either.

the cabinet looks like the Altec Lansing Heathkit AS-101. but the drivers are wrong...maybe they are EV drivers in the AS-101 cabinet

I don't think there's any way EV. They really look like old Magnavox. Might sound pretty good though.

Only if you like the style. I couldn't get rid of my pair of empties for $25.
