Where to find RCA cables for older Sansui flared jacks?

Does anyone know of a new source for the old style RCA cables with the ends that are partitioned? The CA-303 and other same period gear have an old style RCA jack that flares at the base. The new style RCA cable ends don’t open up like the old ones do and won’t fit. I picked up some on eBay, but am looking to source some new ones.

Any I ideas?

I know this isn't the answer you are seeking, but I've taken to making new terminal strips with modern high quality RCA jacks for head old enough to still have these odd oversized jacks. I got tired of dealing with having to find and use specific cables to connect to those. The TR-707A, Q-3535, SP-220 and AU-111 have all received that treatment. If just use sheet stock of black 1/8 ABS plastic, and cut/drill/assemble and mount as needed to fit the application.

Yeah definitely an option I’ve considered. And I may go with that on the CA-303 and my Sansui tube gear at some point. For now I’m just looking for the old style cables which work just fine. One of the three sets I ordered from eBay has cat teeth marks. Want to find new or known.

If I had any extras of the "tulip" style plugs in good shape that I could send you, I would. Have a few still in use, but chucked some others maybe 3-4 years ago that were ancient Radio Shack cables showing signs of the outer insulation cracking due to age induced dry rot. All the rest I have are the newer style, full diameter sleeve.

Will be interested in how this works for you. I have collected sets of Sansui RCA cables over the years to address this issue but have always wondered if they are really as good as modern alternatives like you are building.

I’ll report back. Better quality connectors and cables should have an audible impact - more to be revealed though. Will be nice to have custom/ideal lengths for my setups too.
