WTF is wrong with some people??

Today my mother in law found 3 newborn kittens bound together with fishing line around their legs. They had been placed under the wheels of her car. One of the kittens is with a local vet because of the damage to its leg. The other 2 kittens were brought by my mother in law to her workplace. Since my wife also works there take a wild guess where one of the furballs is right now?? That's right MY HOUSE. My wife is syringe feeding this oussy with $7 cans of kitten formula.   I should eat as good as this cat!!! :D :D :D

Well I place a pox on the a-hole who put these defenceless creatures in this position anyway.

Man, that is sick!! The cruelty people are capable of is just friggin unbelievable. Make sure they grow up in safe loving homes Mike, they have more than earned the right.

What is it with people and cruelty to cats?

I'm basically non-violent, but were I to witness some brainless act of cruelty to an animal, especially a cat, I'd beat the ****er to within an inch of his life. So help me God...:bash:

Bless you Mike...

People who do such acts to animals should have it reciprocated!

As I was telling Mike earlier this evening my Step-son had 2 cats
named Blues and Jazz. Blues is still living but Jazz died of kidney problems which is prevalent in cats.

When they stitch up cats do they use people-gut?

thats pretty sick. Good thing they didnt get smooshed

A while back there was some guy that hung cats by their neck or something up in a tree down at the harbor and they had like a 100,000 dollar reward for the guy. :dunno:

Just watch out for the speaker scratching post. We just got a new kitten and it's first bad act was to use my Large Advents as a scratching post. Good thing I am such a nice guy, or there might have been a catfur football through the window ;)
Glad they survived. I used to be a dog person, but as I get older, I enjoy the way that a cat leaves you the freak alone and doesn't ask for much. I don't understand people like that, it's not like it is hard to get rid of a kitten, just sit on a corner, people always want a new furball. :)

My Furball...

partner in crime and audio repairs for 20+ years. This pic is from October of '82.

She been gone just over a year. Very tough to look at that pic.

There can be no doubt that people who do such things to defenseless creatures are in training for "bigger" things. Even if you don't give a damn about animals, it is in society's best interest to do serious investigation on crimes like this, rather then treat them as "pranks".

I've had a-hole people make me mad enough to take physical action, but couldn't even think of doing such sick sh*t to an animal. Can't say what I'd do if I ever caught somebody doing something like this.

I like cats. If I were able (landlords), I would have at least two. If I ever saw some asshole mistreating a cat (dog, etc) in any way, especially like this, I'd bitch whip them so bad that they would never walk again, as in QUADRIPELIGIC.

P-F,

It might be a PITA to have to take care of those kitties, but you'll get the karma back. No doubt about that.

The human race is capable of some really messed up stuff.
I mean, it's the 20th century and we're still committing genocide and torturing ourselves and destroying the planet.

But we can also create wonderful art and music and be capable of great
kindness and sacrifice.

Humans are a strange bunch of animals, huh?

I have lost count of the number of strays, pound, and find him a home animals we have had. Here are the 3 guys at the local hang out.

Here is a pound puppy and a stray that now call us home. The stray was less than a pound at 4 months, now at 8 years he is 25 pounds and the big dog is 96 pounds - spoiled !!!

That is so outrageous :uzi:

Sometimes I lose all faith in the Human race, but then again when you hear about things like this there are usually 100 people lined up who would adopt the poor things.

I have three of the beasties myself. Two I adopted as 4 week old kittens, the third was caught at my work, living in a tire pile, she was probably 8-10 weeks old and quite wild.

She's a nice cat now, very well behaved but very timid and distrustful of people (maybe because I had her spayed? :D)

After two+ years of living in the house she is very comfortable here and shows no interest in the outside world, (i put her outside once to see if she preferred it but she was terrified) she'll let me pet her but only when she is on my bed, you can't get close to her anywhere else.

Here's a pic of the two "Normal" cats.
the white one is a Siamese mix and VERY vocal at times.

As I get older, I'm more likely to wonder if the jerk who did it wasn't abused in some way. The statistics are high for certain kinds of abusers...

Of course it doesn't excuse it. But where my reaction before to this sort of thing was nearly all anger, now I have more pity. Left at that, I doubt either of my reactions is particularly constructive regarding the perp. Who knows if I could manage to do something constructive there.

Taking in the cats is something I can do, and have done, though. Beats doing nothing.

Here is our wildcat that came a year ago.
Now having the front porch as her home and got kittens couple of months back.
All were adopted out by our local vet clinic.
Healthy fat little furballs:p:

You can see that the AK folk are good people by the fur company they keep. Here is my oldest and smallest at 5 pounds and 9 years - NutMeg.
