Rebuild capacitors in SANSUI B-2102 MOS VINTAGE

Hi,

I recently bought a SANSUI B-2102 MOS VINTAGE in great condition, but I would like to replace the electrolytic capacitors ...

After research, I couldn't find the B-2102 MOS VINTAGE service manual, but I found that the AU-X1111 has the same pre-amplifier and amplification session as the B-2102 MOS VINTAGE.

I bought this kit ... https://www.audio-high-store.com/product/sansui-au-x1111-mos-vintage-upgrade-kit-audio-capacitors/ and also bought 4 power capacitors 4700 uf 50v.

Does anyone know where I find the SANSUI B-2102 MOS VINTAGE service manual? I only found the AU-X1111 ...

Thanks

None of the capacitors will require replacing here, just take care of the glue under capacitors, clean input selector switch, potentiometers, relays and most important, adjustments!

If you will stay oposite to my opinion, i have no good info for you, none of the capacitors listed in your upgrade kit are direct replacements. That will negative affect the sound.

If there is any need of replacing capacitors in those power amplifiers or integrated, use only Elna Silmic II and Nichicon PM

Ok my friends, i cancel my order..

Do you think that just a general overhaul with cleanliness is enough?

Thanks

I compared my Hegel H360 with the H360 + Sansui B-2102 MOS Vintage pre amplification session and what I have to say is that the H360 plays better in my opinion, a much higher bass, so I think the Sansui needs something to get back in good shape ...

Another issue may be the combination between the pre-amplifier and the B-2102 was not good, you may need to try other pre-amplifiers to better evaluate the sound of the B-2102.

1st confirm adjustments as its most important for sound and safety.
It depends on what you like in sound, i had a chance to compare some sansui with Hegel h200 and this model is equal with 607MR, but when we compared with 907MR there was everything at better level on sansui.

Its true hegel have strong and deep bass, but its one-dimensional, it sound the same on different songs
