Now you've got 2 amps

Have you considered going active with your speakers(i.e fully active, bypassing the internal passive crossovers)?
It'd be a major undertaking, but might be worth considering.
P.S I can send you the photos of the 700C Bolly if you PM me your email address.

I just traded my Hafler DH-500 for this Yamaha M-2

Hello Theophile! I have toyed with the idea of disconnecting a speakers' internal crossover and using an active crossover... unfortunately, I don't have a crossover, yet. :worried: One day I will! I have a little project planned for my Heil AMT tweets, just need a pair of real nice woofers.

I have an excellent pair of 2-way/3-way electronic crossovers I will not be using. Just need one for a 2-way system, both for a three-way system.
Can't remember the brand, but they are quite good and have a fine reputation as I recall from when I bought them.
I can actually see them from where I'm sitting, how lazy can I be not to get up and get the brand name> pretty dang lazy I say.

That sure is dang lazy bully! :D I mentioned in another thread, might've been a Heil one, that I'd be interested, so did someone else I believe. Now quit bein' so dang lazy! :thmbsp:

OK, OK! :D
They are Tapco EX-18's. I think I got 'em when we were over at the old AU.

 You could buy both of 'em and my 200 wpc M-70 and tri-amp those bad boy AR-9's! Wouldn't that be something to hear! :smoke:

Great stuff there Greg!!

I have a pic I will post later in a new thread that I think you and Pete will enjoy. I got back into the big, bad-ass amp line :D .

Is it your old one that bully got, that I now have?

Ya just gotta love a bada$$ Soundcraftsmen John! Hey bully, let me think on it...

Bolly you trader !!!! Now I have no more Hafler buddies

Hope you dig the new Yammie - I've heard excellent things about them - plenty of juice on tap thats for sure.

How are the ARs holding up ?

J :smoke:

I sorry Johnny! :D So far the BIG AR's are workin' like a charm. Nuthin' against the DH-500, I just prefer a more aesthetically attractive piece!

Haflers are kinda plain lookin - At least the 500 is. I knda dig the clean looks tho-

How would you stack it up VS the Yammie ? I like the way the Hafler does bass, also I find it quiet, dead quiet. I went from an AU717 to the Hafler, and well....the AUs been gone quite awhile now - No contest.

J
