I pulled the 12" Driver thinking the worst and I found it was just the surround had come off the rim just a little. I used some glue that came with a refoam kit and applied it underneath with a playing card. Think that will do the job?
As far as my opinion on my new AR3a's... WOW. I can't believe how much I like them. I really like that midbass kick you get from them. A really really nice speaker that I didn't expect to actually keep. Now I just need to refoam the 4411's and do the Pepsi taste test challenge. Right now I'm leaning on the AR's just cus I love that sealed enclosure sound. And boy they can gobble up some big watts-- they took a full onslaught from my SX-1250 with no problem. Guess I'll have to try the MC2300 next :scratch2:

Once I "discovered" the differences in the AR sound, I started collecting in earnest; I now have several versions of the 2 series, a few 4x, 7, a small modern pair or two and my favs of the bunch - AR-5.
