Pioneer CT-F950 Back Home!!!

Hello Pioneer fans,

My CT-F950 is back from RichP. I have to say it is like I went back in time to 1979 and went to Stereo Warehouse in Mahattan and bought the CT-F950 Brand New!!! I am amazed at the workmanship Rich puts into this tape deck. I have to make some recordings tomorrow night from the KJZZ acoustic jazz station. The packing is of such high standards I think if a truck did happen to run over it , she would be fine, 2" thick foam sheeting the kind the space shuttle has on it's belly! in the 2ND box! :thmbsp:

The deck sounds fantastic with the few tapes I have played so far! :music:

Thank You Rich P.

And thanks to all of you AK members who recommended him.
I will post pictures tomorrow.

John. :music:

Glad to hear it. I'll bet she really sings now. :music: From what I've read, Rich is the best person for this particular job.

I love my 950. I hope someday it will make its way to Rich for a complete overhaul too.

Hi Paul,

Yes that she do! I want to record some Jazz tomorrow as I always do from 7:pm to around 10:pm. I took some pics but they came out lousy, so I will do them with different camera. :scratch2:Here they are. :thmbsp:

Thanks,
John. :music:

I sure am relieved she got home OK. She did spiff up kinda purdy, didn't she? I'm very glad her singing pleases. Now...Keep her transport clean and demag'ed, and she should continue to sing for you for a good long while to come.

I actually experienced a twinge of sadness as I sealed up the package. We got to know each other real well while she was here. From the sound of things, she will not be lonely at home, with so many of her various sisters around to keep her company...

Enjoy,
Rich P

I listen to Jazz myself. I also like Blues. I don't mean to offend anyone, but about the only thing I don't enjoy listening to is Country. I'll listen to it because my wife likes it, but won't go out of my way to listen to it. I have some Diana Krall on cassette. She purrs just as good in analog as she does in digital. :music: :D

You have a very sweet system by the looks of your signature. That 950 fits in well with all that high-end gear.

If I recall, that one was a problem-child...

Nothing that a little reform-school couldn't help :thmbsp:

Enjoy,
