Yamaha CR-900 Receiver Quit Output

Friend of mine has this unit since new...last week he said it quit working...powers up, no relay click, no output.

Does anyone have the DC specs and potentiometer location so we can troubleshoot?

He says that's it. I found a pic of a CR-800 on OakTree audio's site....this is its big brother.
 
The R-900 uses an STK3076 (if memory serves) voltage amplifier and two STK 1070 II power amplifiers. Sounds like one of the three has failed. Audio Lab of Georgia probably stocks all three.

About the only adjustment you might want to look at is the -25V supply controlled by a small variable resistor in the power supply section. You do not want to even think about fooling with any of the adjustments in the tuning section.
 
I was thinking that perhaps DC offset has caused the protection to kick in!? ...but I read in another thread about this model maybe having oscillation issues?
