Emerson Swingmate portable record changer

Found this at a garage sale for $2. Saved it from a mundane existence and gave it a life of high adventure cleaning my thrift store/yard sale vinyl.

The wand is just a piece of PVC pipe with a slot cut in it, covered in velvet.
There are two switches on the front, one turns the platter motor on and off, the other switches an outlet on the side that the shopvac plugs into.

Yep, the Swingmates started out as GE's (with GE changers), then became the Concert Hall brand, then Emerson, all keeping the Swingmate name. Mono and stereo versions were made. The Concert Hall and Emerson's had BSR changers. (Useless trivia.)
