Am I out of the main stream or do others feel creeped out by the burger king dude.
The whole square butt thing seems wrong when marketing to kids,Mabey I am just getting old and out of touch but I get creeped out by it all.

Im glad I grew up watching Ronald Mc Donald,Grimus, the hamburgler and the french fry guys. Very low on the creepy scale.

The killer for that whole ad is the pimp at the end that say "booty is booty". Very strange and inappropriate ad but I have to say I laughed. Not an ad I would care for my kids to have to process.

Glad I'm not the only one that finds it distasteful. Most commercials have me scrambling to find the mute button on the remote.

The Quizno's ad which airs in the area makes several innuendos referencing sexual activity with the sub toasting machine. Even being as demented as I am, I found it hard to find humor in.

Being pretty damn creepy myself, yes, I find The Burger King more than slightly disturbing-and NOT in a good way. You hafta wonder who approved the ad campaign in the 1st place, & WTF were they thinking...

That "pimp" in the ad is Sir-Mix-Alot. He is the one who did the original song baby got back and I'm pretty sure he's the one doing the song on the commercial. I'm sure most of the people around here have never heard any of his records but he is one hell of a funny dude IMHO.

I personally thought it was HILARIOUS:yes:!

Having said all that... Yes, the Burger King guy creeps me out too.

It's a sad turn of affairs when a business feels that the only way they can hope to interest anyone in their products is by irritating or offending potential customers. Gone are the days when a product was advertised as being of high quality or a good investment in humorous and/or informative ads. Nowadays it's mono-tonal jingles, endlessly repetitive dialog, seizure inducing images, sexual innuendo (or worse) that has viewers leaping for the remote.

It's tiresome.

If I ever saw that burger king dude, I would shoot him on sight! :pistols: I can not stand that creepy s.o.b.! :yuck:
