Always wanted a Technics amp. I am a sucker for big meters, and have yet to hear a Technics I did not like :music:. So I got me one, a Technics SE-A70. It comes with the SU-A80.

I will not get to test it for a long long long time :sigh: These are the pics by the seller. The front preamp door is missing, so if anybody has one lying around...

Anyway - Any hands on knowledge about these 'round here?

OCTOBER?!? Hell, if you're working on the Alaskan pipe line just hook a couple of welding leads to it! he he....Maybe you can wait to October, but we can't!:banana:

Legal, theres no WAY I'd wait from June to February for those wonderful toys... I'd be paying to have 'em shipped!!!

The longer the wait the sweeter the taste (I just came up with that. DAMN i'm good).

The thing is that I spend a lot of my time away from the US, but I have all my "scores" shipped in the US. So oftentimes, I wait rrrrrealllyyy long time periods before I get to see the stuff and test it :tears:.

I will not have them shipped (actually it is only the amp I want - the pre, which should be a very good one, will be sold in feb, once I test it to see it is OK), for a simple reason: I have about 10 or 15 items waiting for me, and I I decide to have ANYTHING shipped, I'll have to decide WHICH ONE. I can't do that to the other items, they'll be offended.

The one thing that holds me is the vision of me...getting home with 10-15 pieces at once...putting them in a circle and sitting in the middle playing with them. Yeahhhh :smoke:

EDIT: Just checked the web, and somebody came up with "The longer the wait the sweeter the taste" before me. I knwe it was too good to be true :scratch2:
