Noting expanded horizontal and vertical scales, compare LF response to other vintage acoustic suspension speakers measured here:

HF measurement axis midway between mid and tweet @ ~20° off-axis, HF controls set +2 dB.

Toed in, Red, is elevated in the last octave; set HF controls to "Normal" for flat.

VHF -6 dB from 93 dB @ 17.4 kHz, no grille, 17.3 kHz with.

They do look a little lean in the LF. What are the crossover points?

More important...... How do they sound?:yes:
 
Confirms most listening impressions. The "lean" quality of the lower bass is to me, an asset, in that it doesn't colour the rest of the spectrum.
 
Thanks Zilch for the good work........the ns690s and ns500s are my two favorites ........How is the upper bass? I find this a strong point as well....
