If I recall some of them had sperate bass commodes for the bass drivers, and then those towers pictured have a row of full range electrostatic ribbons which are more inside the unit which uses the tower itself to kind of be like a slotted horn for the ribbons, with there own power amps, and those are by all means a great pair of speakers! The guy I purchased one of my speaker sets sold me his after getting a pair of these. If I lived in PA I would have already broke all the speeding laws to get there first.

Just to be clear, I have the ones mentioned in the 2007 thread, not the ones on CL in the original post.

Mine are the later Model 5 and do not have the built-in amps.
 
I could practically walk to New Hope from my house. Caught these when they were the top post. E-mailed twice over the course of 10 hours but received no reply.
 
Glad there are some members close by, hopefully one of us will get them. I was going to inquire about them but thought someone else would appreciate them more. I probably wou:screwy:ld have ended up stripping them for the tubes and iron.

Just kidding.
