Yamaha PX-3 score, need help with some parts
Well,
I was out picking up fuses for my first score of the day, when I decided to stop by a second Pawn Shop, which my buddy works at, to see what they had.
Still on the shelf was a Yamaha PX-3, deffinatly in need of some TLC, but with the price tag of $99.99 on it. Well, I helped him out with some computer troubles that one of his customers was having and he hooked me up with it for $50!
Now, I'm pretty much a turntable noob. So I need to know what this thing needs. Clearly it needs the following...
-Cartridge
-Stylus
-Feet
-New RCA ends
Does it need a new mat? Where can I find some proper feet for it? And does it need a special cartidge or can I just pick up any standard cartridge?
Anyway, here are the pics.

)wouldn't be able to do a similar job.The original is a thick heavy mat about 9mm thick.look for something similar, don't spend a fortune. The owner's manual will tell you what weight range of cartridges the arm accomodates.
