Look like some Pioneers from a late 80's - mid 90's rack system.
I would guess they make sound, how good they sound is open to interpretation, my guess is "meh" at best.

I wouldn't expect much from those speakers, or the BPC Onkyo.
Those speakers must be from the same time period as my Technics garage speakers that were given to me free. They make sound, and can be heard above my table saw.

@Lavane.......Dont be so quick to judge a book by its BPC cover. While it may not be a game changer and it's certainly no vintage "TX" series, I don't believe it deserves th BPC tag.

I have owned several Onkyo pieces over the years, including some from the BPC era and have never been disappointed; not always impressed but never disappointed. I still miss my A-10, closest thing to a "staright wire with gain" I've ever heard in an SS integrated amp.

To the OP......might make a nice garage / summer deck/party system.

The speakers are pretty awful, good for a teen who doesn't live at your house. You could probably get $40-50 for them on a good day. I used to use them in trainings as a "how not to build a speaker" segment.
The receiver should be decent. Pick it up. If it's a bit hefty, it should be a good one. As mentioned, old Onkyo stuff was really good in the day. Just gave my A-8070 integrated to my stepdaughter. A beast.

Onkyo has made some really nice equipment over the years. And while not all BP componants are junk, I dought I personally wouldn't pay more than $50 max for that one. It would probably make for a decent garage stereo though.
I've worked on some equipment from the 90's and early 2000's and a lot of it just wasn't built with repairs in mind. I repaired a 100wpc Technics integrated amp from the 90's that barely survived being put back together. It sounded very good, but was horrible to work on.

Folks , if you saw my garage setup, you would say - UMMMM..NOt his garage. I was just curious mostly about the speakers ...so I am passing on both

My current garage setup (because its my CLEAN work area)
Marantz 2220B (custom)
Fluance RT85 table
Pioneer HPM-100's (200watt version)
JBL Studio 530's
Wiim Pro streamer
Modi + DAC
and my DIY record cleaner
