Wondering if anyone knows of a transistor substitute list for non currently avaliable transistors.
Your help would be much appreciated.

Do a search for each individual transistor you need to replace. I have found that there are many that can be found this way here on AK.

:rflmao:

I have those in the pictures, although it does not come with replacements, and it is many, many pages, because each year, more obsolete transistors were added.
It was from the days, "they" thought a parts list would fit in one book.

BTW the best way to create a list of available substitutes is do a Mouser or Digikey transistor parameter search (including package type) of the one to be replaced.

It is the only way to have a list which is current, because replacements are vanishing fast ;)

>Good ole days working at Sansui's service department in Gardena.... they issued us Japanese Substitution Manuals along with having access to the parts department in the early 80's made Transistor Subs EASY.

Their Data books come in handy...
