Larry The Cable Guy Tater Chips

I ran across these bad boys a couple of months back...now we picked up three pallets of close-dated chips for the store (Best by 1/13/13). Got a great deal, of course...so they're on the floor @ 5 for $5.

Now...I'm a devoted lover of dill pickle potato chips...with Minnesota's "Old Dutch" brand ranking right at the top for pickleness Lay's are a pale imitation. Now, these Larry chips come in 4 flavors: Barbecued Rib, Buffalo Wing, Cheeseburger...and Fried Dill Pickle. The pickle chips are outstanding! The Buffalo Wing chips have a bit of a ranch flavor with a spicy finish...the Barbecued Rib chips are just what you'd expect...and the Cheeseburger chips are the real surprise. Taste just like a cheeseburger! I deduced the flavors as ketchup, mustard, a hint of pickle and just maybe a tad of smoke flavor to get that grilled effect.

As Larry sez right on the bag..."Boy, that's some good eatin'!"

And...cool that they're made by KLN Family Brands (the Barrel O' Fun people) right here in Perham, MN!

You know, I stopped in our local dollar store a couple weeks ago, & they had something or other that was branded for Larry The Cable Guy. I thought it was fairly cool, but it was beer-flavored, whatever it was, and since I'm a recovering alcoholic, I decided to pass. I'm trying to remember exactly what the heck it was, maybe beer-flavored bread mix or something, that I'd never buy on my own. If it had been tater chips, and NOT beer-flavored, I'm fairly sure I would have tried them.

Big Lots has that stuff, i bought a few boxes of the bacon mac and cheese as it was cheap. Have not tried it yet. As for chips the Lay's Dill Pickle are the best I've found around here, their BLT flavored ones suck!

They have Larry the Cable guy burgers in the frozen section.

Yes the cheeseburger ones are great. You can't explain how much they do taste like a cheeseburger .
