Sansui AU 9500 -static loud!

turned on my au9500 tu 9500 playing as normal. Then static starts.. then loud then very LOUD.
Checked all connections turned volume all way down. Powered back on and super loud static buzz( saved my speakers and powered off right away) causes - intermittent because this happened a couple of months ago? Ideas? Relay?transistor? - thanks

The AU-9500 uses many 2SA726 transistors that are failure prone; also problematic, but to a lesser extent, is the 2SC1313 transistor. These can be replace with the readily available KSA992 and KSC1845 transistors, respectively.

Thanks! I will let the technician who is going to work on it these issues. FYi> how many of these transistors are there needing replacing?

I'd replace all of them, while would be there working on the amp. Better do it now, for one time
