JVC Nivico Stereo Console

Been looking at getting a stereo console to play some records.

Found this on local C-list, any thoughts on price?

Cool. But seems like alot for something that's falling apart.

This one is on youtube. Seems like decent sound.

Posted two months ago. You could probably get it for a lot less than $60.
He says it's tube but a post on another forum that came up on a google search about antique radios they say solid state.
I'd go look, and if it's tube I'd try to get it for $30. It could be bad output tube(s) that make the internal speakers sound bad. Or rotted surrounds.

I don't think I'd want to play any records that I cared about on something like that. Vintage consoles are OK if you're only using the electronics, but the included turntables were rarely well built. You could quickly lose more than the cost of that console in ruined albums.
